Day 24

Friday May 24^th, 2013

Whew!! Today was so much fun!!  We went to Korle Bu and met with the Dean of the Health Sciences and he talked to us all about the respiratory program that they are developing.  It is still about 1 year out it seems like from opening up but for their field it seems really exciting.  We left there and headed to La Palm.  It is like a really fancy resort on the coast.  We went swimming at their pool all day long.  This place was gorgeous.  The pool was Vegas size and was so fun to swim in! Most everyone got sun burned but I had my faithful 70 and stayed nice and white! We played Frisbee and had pizza and met some other Americans.  I had to wear my tiny running shorts so I wouldn’t chafe and I got so much crap for it.  We were playing keep away with the Frisbee and I was in the middle.  There was a point where everybody saw my butt as my swimming suit slipped off.  I am glad I can be entertainment to everyone! I have had so much energy.  I was dancing and singing all day today.  It was so fun to just sit in the shade and read my book and listen to my music.  We had ice cream and more pool time.  Cait and I were swimming around a apparently got in some guys ‘line’ as he was swimming laps.  He told us to stay out of it.  I told him I paid just like he did and started playing Frisbee in his line.  He quit pretty soon after when the Frisbee hit him.  Jerk.  On the way home Richard had me stop a kid on the street selling a phone.  It was a Samsung, the ‘same’ as Lisa’s.  But it was a totally knock off.  In Twi Bra means come here.  So I was like Hey Bra, What’s up!  He just looked at me like ‘who? Me?’  It was way funny.  He was so surprised.  We came back and had breakfast for dinner and I finished my marketing plan.  I went up to Amber’s room and everybody was wasted.  So I hung out for a bit and Amber’s head was right near my butt so I pushed out a fart and she about died.  It was the funniest thing!!  She was so freaking mad.  I was laughing hysterically!!  Temple in the morning!
